Cold Side Silkscreening has been serving the Twin Cities since 1976. We can accommodate orders from 6 to thousands of garments. We have printed for many local, national and international clients including: The Minneapolis Art Institute, The Walker Art Center, Native American Health Board, ELCA, Radisson Hotels, Prince, Jimmy Buffett, Soul Asylum, ABM, Cafe Brenda, New French Cafe, Minneapolis Public Library, Minneapolis Public Schools, University of Minnesota, Hennepin County, Ramsey County and the Salvation Army.

ORDERING INFORMATION

SCREEN PRINTING:

• Minimum of 6 per order.

• Normal turnaround is two weeks from the day an order is placed. Rush charges may apply on short notice orders.

• We can print up to 6 colors. We are also experienced in 4-color process.

• Design films are stored indefinitely after an order is first placed.

• Screen setup charges are reduced to $9 per screen on reorders.

• Orders can be taken through E-mail, over the phone, or in person.

• Price is based on quantity, garment type, and number of colors in design.

• For orders over 300 ask for low bids.

PROVIDED ART REQUIREMENTS

• Cold Side offers a full service art department which can develop customer concepts or work with pre-existing artwork to prepare it for screen printing.
• Supplied art may be provided as an Adobe Illustrator (fonts converted to outlines) or Photoshop, PDF, JPEG file at a high resolution (300 dpi at print size).
• Hard copy art may be provided in the form of clean line art on white paper.
• Any color separations will be done in-house.

DIGITAL PRINTING:

• Minimum of 24 per order.

• Normal turnaround is one month from the day an order is placed. Rush charges may apply on short notice orders.

• Digital printing is best for designs that have too many colors or too much detail and shading for screen printing (like photographs).

• Digital printing has a $25 flat setup charge that includes a sample.

• Orders can be taken through E-mail, over the phone, or in person.

• Price is based on quantity, garment type, and size of print.

• For orders over 300 ask for low bids.
